Some claim Stellaris 1.9.1 Boulle was the peak version because its unrestricted FTL travel offered better opportunities for warfare with enemy empires than the newer versions. I suspected that this could be the root cause of the problem so I resynced the two accounts and Hearts of Iron is still not showing up. Stellaris, since its inception, has been updated quite often, and significant changes in game dynamics with update 2.0 leave many players long for older versions’ features. I was interested in the word "syncing" and so came here, I have already synced my Steam and Paradox accounts but I noticed that only Stellaris is on my Paradox account and Hearts of Iron isn't. I tried uninstalling both games and reinstalling them, but it didn't do anything. However, I tried a bunch of my non Paradox games and they work fine. I also own the game Hearts of Iron 4 and, because they're both Paradox games, I gave it a try and it doesn't work either, it does the same thing. From here it would usually just launch the game but instead, it says running for about a second and then turns blue and says "syncing", and then just doesn't play the game at all. Then, on the left side of the screen, where there's the list of all the games, there's the little thing that says running. It goes though the "performing first time start up" deal with the little window in the center of the screen like it ordinarily would after a big update. The way this is, is I log in to steam and I click on the game like I ordinarily would. Anyway, I recently downloaded a bunch of mods for it and upgraded from Version 1.9.1 to 2.3.0 and I can't play the game. I have Stellaris, just the ordinary sort without any of the expansion packs or anything which I play on Steam on a Windows 7 computer.
